Denrosa is Scotland’s largest producer of Heather Honey and comb honey. We also breed our own highly regarded lines of queen bees and supply well-priced hive parts and wax foundation. While our honey is only available in bulk to the trade, the bees and beekeeping equipment which we use are available to other beekeepers. Look in our shop to find out more.
Welcome to the website of Denrosa Apiaries, one of the largest and longest established bee farms in the UK, operating since 1950 mostly in eastern and central Scotland.
We concentrate on production of heather honey, both in bulk and in comb form, to the bulk trade only. We also have a bee breeding unit producing queens, packages and nuclei.
In addition to that we also supply a range of equipment to professional beekeepers and associations, robust sound commercial grade equipment of the same quality we like to use ourselves. Hive parts, frames, foundation and some associated items – the kit we use ourselves at sensible pricing.
